Hadith 621 - Bab 73 (Good Conduct)
Chapter 1 (The Book of Miscellany)
Anas (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (Peace be upon him) was the best of all the people in behaviour.

Selon Anas (das), le Messager de Dieu (bsdl) jouissait dans la société de la plus haute moralité. (ura)

Anas (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: I never felt any piece of velvet or silk softer than the palm of the Messenger of Allah (Peace be upon him), nor did I smell any fragrance more pleasant than the smell of Messenger of Allah (Peace be upon him). I served him for ten years, and he never said 'Uff' (an expression of disgust) to me. He never said 'why did you do that?' for something I had done, nor did he ever say 'why did you not do such and such' for something I had not done.

Anas (das) rapporte: «Je n"ai jamais touché un brocart, ni une étoffe de soie plus lisse que la paume de la main du Messager de Dieu (bsdl). Je n"ai jamais senti de parfum plus suave que celui du Messager de Dieu (bsdl). J"ai effectivement servi le Messager de Dieu (bsdl) durant dix années. Jamais il ne m"a dit «Ouf!» (en signe d"impatience et de réprobation). Jamais il ne m"a dit pour quelque chose que j"avais faite - «Pourquoi l"as-tu faite?» - ni pour quelque chose que je n"avais pas faite, «Que ne l"aies-tu faite?»
623 وعن الصَّعبِ بنِ جَثَّامَةَ رضيَ اللَّهُ عنه قَالَ: أَهْدَيْتُ رسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وسَلَّم حِمَاراً وَحْشِياً، فَرَدُّهُ عليَّ، فَلَمَّا رأَى مَا في وَجْهي قالَ: "إِنَّا لَمْ نَرُدَّهُ عَلَيْكَ إِلاَّ أَنَّا حُرُمٌ" متفقٌ عَلَيْهِ.

Sa'b bin Jaththamah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: I presented a wild ass to Messenger of Allah (Peace be upon him) as a gift but he returned it to me. When he perceived signs of despair on my face, he said, "I have declined to accept it because I am in the state of Ihram."

Asa"b Ibn Jaththàma (das) rapporte: «J"ai offert au Messager de Dieu (bsdl) un âne sauvage (onagre) et il me le refusa (il était alors sous la règle sacrée du pèlerinage où la chasse est interdite). Quand il lut la déception sur mon visage, il me dit: «Nous ne te l"avons refusé que parce que nous étions sous la règle du pèlerinage».

Nawwas bin Sam'an (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: I asked Messenger of Allah (Peace be upon him) about virtue and sin, and he said, "Virtue is noble behaviour, and sin is that which creates doubt and you do not like people to know about it."

'Abdullah bin 'Amr bin Al-'as (May Allah be pleased with them) reported: Messenger of Allah (Peace be upon him) did not indulge in loose talk nor did he like to listen to it. He used to say, "The best of you is the best among you in conduct."

Annawàs Ibn Sam"àn (das) rapporte: «J"ai interrogé le Messager de Dieu (bsdl) sur le bien et sur le mal. Il me dit: «Le bien c"est la bonne moralité et le mal c"est ce qui reste hésitant dans ta poitrine et que tu n"aimerais pas que les gens découvrent». (Rapporté par Moslem)
"البِذيُّ": هُوَ الَّذِي يَتَكَلَّم بالفُحْشِ. ورِديء الكلامِ.
Hadith 626 - Bab 73 (Good Conduct)

Abud-Darda (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Prophet (Peace be upon him) said, "Nothing will be heavier on the Day of Resurrection in the Scale of the believer than good manners. Allah hates one who utters foul or coarse language."
[At- Tirmidhi].
Selon "Abdullàh Ibn "Amr Ibn Al-"Às (das), le Messager de Dieu (bsdl) n"a jamais été grossier et n"a jamais voulu le paraître. Il disait: «Parmi vos meilleurs sont ceux d"entre vous qui ont la plus haute moralité et le meilleur caractère».
رواه الترمذي وقال: حديث حسن صحيح.

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of Allah (Peace be upon him) was asked about the deed which will be foremost to lead a man to Jannah. He replied, "Fear of Allah and the good conduct." Then he was asked about indulgence which will admit a man to Hell (Fire) and he answered, "The tongue and the genitals."
[At- Tirmidhi].
Selon Abouddardà’ (das), le Prophète (bsdl) a dit: «Rien ne pèse plus dans la balance du Croyant le jour de la résurrection que sa bonne moralité et son bon caractère. Dieu déteste en effet tout grossier au parler impudique». (Rapporté par Attirmidhi)
رواه الترمذي وَقالَ: حديث حسن صحيح.

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Messenger of Allah (Peace be upon him) said, "The most perfect man in his faith among the believers is the one whose behaviour is most excellent; and the best of you are those who are the best to their wives."
[At- Tirmidhi].
Selon Abou Hourayra (das), le Messager de Dieu (bsdl) fut interrogé sur ce qui faisait entrer le plus les gens au Paradis. Il dit: «La crainte de Dieu et la bonne moralité». On l"interrogea de même sur ce qui faisait entrer le plus les gens en Enfer et il dit: «La bouche et le sexe». (Rapporté par Attirmidhi)
629 وعن عائشةَ رضيَ اللَّه عنها، قالت سَمِعتُ رسولَ اللَّه صَلّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وسَلَّم يقول: "إِنَّ الُمؤْمِنَ لَيُدْركُ بِحُسنِ خُلُقِه درَجةَ الصائمِ القَائمِ" رواه أَبُو داود.

'Aishah (May Allah be pleased with her) reported: I heard Messenger of Allah (Peace be upon him) saying: "A believer will attain by his good behaviour the rank of one who prays during the night and observes fasting during the day."

Selon lui encore, le Messager de Dieu (bsdl) a dit: «Les Croyants qui ont la foi la plus accomplie sont ceux d"entr"eux qui jouissent de la meilleure moralité et du plus doux caractère. Les meilleurs d"entre vous sont ceux qui traitent le mieux leurs femmes». (Rapporté par Attirmidhi)
