Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) reported: I heard the Messenger of Allah (Peace be upon him) saying, "Allah does not listen so attentively to anything as He listens to the recitation of the Qur'an by a Prophet who recites well with a melodious and audible voice."

Abou Hourayra (das) a dit: «J"ai entendu le Messager de Dieu (bsdl) dire: «Dieu n"a jamais écouté de bon gré quelqu"un comme II a écouté un Prophète à la belle voix chantant le Coran et le faisant entendre».

Abu Musa Al-Ash'ari (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (Peace be upon him) said to him, "You have been given a Mizmar (sweet melodious voice) out of the Mazamir of Prophet Dawud (David)."

[Al-Bukhari and Muslim].

Selon Abou Musa Al Ash"ari (das), le Messager de Dieu (bsdl) lui a dit: «Dieu t"a certainement doué d"une voix pareille à celle de David».

Al-Bara' bin 'Azib (May Allah be pleased with them) reported: I heard the Prophet (Peace be upon him) reciting Surat Wat-Teen Waz-Zaitun (Chapter 95) during the 'Isha' prayer. I have never heard anyone reciting it in a more beautiful voice than his.

Al Barà’ Ibn "Âzeb (das) a dit: «J"ai entendu le Prophète (bsdl) récitant, au cours de la prière du soir le chapitre «Les figuiers et les oliviers». Je n"ai jamais entendu quelqu"un ayant une plus belle voix que la sienne».

Abu Lubabah Bashir bin 'Abdul-Mundhir (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Prophet (Peace be upon him) said, "He who does not recite the Qur'an in a pleasant tone is not of us."

Selon Abou Loubàba (das), le Prophète (bsdl) a dit: «Celui qui ne chante pas en récitant le Coran n"est pas des nôtres». (Rapporté par Abou Dawùd)

Ibn Mas'ud (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Prophet (Peace be upon him) said to me, "Recite the Qur'an to me." I said: "O Messenger of Allah! Shall I recite it to you when it was revealed to you?" He (Peace be upon him) said, "I like to hear it from others." Then I began to recite Surat An-Nisa'. When I reached the Ayah: 'How will it be when We shall bring a witness from every people and bring you as a witness against them?' (Having heard it) he said, "Enough! Enough!" When I looked at him, I found his eyes were overflowing with tears.

Ibn Mas"ûd (das) rapporte que le Prophète (bsdl) lui a dit: «Lis pour moi le Coran!». Ibn Mas"ûd lui dit: «O Messager de Dieu! Est-ce que je lis pour /toi le Coran quand c"est sur toi qu"il est descendu?» Il dit: «J"aime l"entendre de la bouche d"un autre». Ibn Mas"ûd dit: «Je lui lus le chapitre «Les femmes». Quand j"arrivai à ce verset: «Qu"en serait-il lorsque Nous ferons venir un témoin de chaque nation et que Nous te ferons venir comme témoin contre ceux-là (les Arabes)?». Il dit: «Arrête-toi là». Ibn Mas"ûd dit: «Je me suis retourné vers lui et je vis ses yeux déborder de larmes».
