Hadith 1196 - Bab 215 (The Excellence of using Miswak (Tooth-Stick))

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Messenger of Allah (Peace be upon him) said, "Had I not thought it difficult for my Ummah, I would have commanded them to use the Miswak (tooth-stick) before every Salat."

Selon Abou Hourayra (das), le Messager de Dieu (bsdl) a dit: «Si je ne craignais pas de trop charger ma nation, je leur ordonnerais de se frotter les dents avant chaque prière».

Hudaifah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Whenever the Messenger of Allah (Peace be upon him) got up (from sleep), he would rub his teeth with Miswak (tooth-stick).

Selon Houdheyfa (das), dès que le Messager de Dieu (bsdl) se réveillait, il se frottait les dents».

'Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) reported: We used to prepare for the Messenger of Allah (Peace be upon him) a Miswak (tooth-stick) and the water for making Wudu'. Whenever Allah wished to awaken him from sleep at night, he (Peace be upon him) would brush his teeth with Miswak, make Wudu', and perform Salat.

‘Aisha (das) a dit: «Nous préparions pour le Messager de Dieu (bsdl) son bâton d"arak et l"eau de ses ablutions. Dieu le réveillait la nuit à l"heure qu"il voulait. Il se frottait alors les dents, faisait ses ablutions et priait». (Rapporté par Moslem)

Anas (May Allah be pleased with him)reported: The Messenger of Allah (Peace be upon him) said, "I stress upon you to use Miswak (tooth- stick)."

Selon Anas (das), le Messager de Dieu (bsdl) a dit à ses Compagnons: «J"ai trop insisté à vous recommander de vous frotter les dents». (Rapporté par Al Boukhàri)
عَائِشَةَ
رَضِيَ اللَّه عنْهَا: بأَيِّ شيءٍ كَان يَبْدَأُ النَّبِيُّ صَلّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وسَلَّم إِذا دَخَلَ بَيْتَهُ، قَالَتْ: بِالسِّوَاكِ، روَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ.

Shuraih bin Hani (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: I asked 'Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her): "What was the first thing which the Prophet (Peace be upon him) would do when he entered his house?" She replied: "He would use Miswak (tooth-stick)."

Shou"ayb Ibn HanP a dit: «J"ai demandé à "Âisha (das): «Quelle était la première chose que faisait le Prophète (bsdl) en rentrant chez lui?» Elle dit: «II se frottait les dents». (Rapporté par Moslem)

Abu Musa Al-Ash'ari (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: I came to the Prophet (Peace be upon him) once and noticed the tip of Miswak (tooth-stick) on his tongue.

Abou Musa Al Ash"ari (das) a dit: «En entrant chez le Prophète (bsdl) je le trouvai avec sur sa langue son bâton d"arak».

'Aishah (May Allah be pleased with her) reported: The Prophet (Peace be upon him) said, "The Miswak (tooth-stick) cleanses and purifies the mouth and pleases the Rubb."

D"après c Âisha (das), le Prophète (bsdl) a dit: «Quand on se frotte les dents on purifie sa bouche et on obtient en même temps la satisfaction du Seigneur». (Rapporté par Annasâ"i)
الاسْتِحْدَادُ: حلْقُ العَانَةِ، وهُو حَلقُ الشعْرِ الَّذِي حَوْلَ الفرْجِ.

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Prophet (Peace be upon him) said, "There are five acts which conform to the pure nature: Circumcision, removing of the pubic hair, clipping the nails, plucking the underarm hair and trimming the moustache."

Selon Abou Hourayra (das), le Prophète (bsdl) a dit: «Cinq actes font partie de la saine nature: La circoncision. Le rasage du bas-ventre. La taille des ongles. L"arrachage (l"épilation des poils des aisselles et la taille de la moustache».
"البَراجِمُ"بالباءِ الموحدةِ والجيم، وهي: "عُقَدُ الأَصَابِعِ"."وَإِعْفَاءُ اللَّحْيَةِ"مَعْنَاهُ: لاَ يقُص مِنْهَا شَيئاً.

'Aishah (May Allah be pleased with her) reported: The Messenger of Allah (Peace be upon him) said, "There are ten demands of pure nature: trimming the moustache, letting the beard grow, using Miswak (tooth-stick), snuffing up water into the nose (in ablution), paring the nails, washing the bases of the finger joints; plucking the underarm hair, removing of the pubic hair and removing impurities with water from the affected part after a call of nature."
The subnarrator said: I forgot the tenth but it might possibly be the rinsing of the mouth (in ablution).

Selon "Àisha (das), le Messager de Dieu (bsdl) a dit: «Dix actes font partie de la saine nature: Se tailler la moustache. Respecter l"intégrité de la barbe. Se frotter les dents. Se laver les narines par aspiration d"eau et son rejet. Se couper les ongles. Se laver les nodosités des doigts. S"arracher les poils des aisselles. Se raser le bas-ventre et se laver les émonctoires (les issues de l"urine et des matières fécales)». Le narrateur ajoute: «J"en ai oublié le dixième, à moins qu"il ne s"agisse du rinçage de la bouche».
