Hadith 360 - Bab 45 (Visiting the Pious Persons, loving them and adoption of their company)
Chapter 1 (The Book of Miscellany)

Anas bin Malik (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: After the death of Messenger of Allah (Peace be upon him), Abu Bakr (May Allah be pleased with him) said to 'Umar (May Allah be pleased with him) : "Let us visit Umm Aiman (May Allah be pleased with her) as Messenger of Allah (Peace be upon him) used to visit her". As we came to her, she wept. They (Abu Bakr and 'Umar (May Allah be pleased with him) said to her, "What makes you weep? Do you not know that what Allah has in store for His Messenger (Peace be upon him) is better than (this worldly life)?" She said, "I weep not because I am ignorant of the fact that what is in store for Messenger of Allah (Peace be upon him) (in the Hereafter) is better than this world, but I weep because the Revelation has ceased to come". This moved both of them to tears and they began to weep along with her.

Selon Anas (das), Abou Bakr (das) dit à "Omar (das) après la mort du Messager de Dieu (bsdl): «Allons rendre visite à Oummou Ayman de même que le Messager de Dieu (bsdl) lui rendait visite». Lorsqu"ils arrivèrent chez elle, elle pleura. Ils lui dirent: «Qu"est-ce donc qui te fait pleurer? Ne sais-tu pas que ce qui est auprès de Dieu est bien meilleur pour le Messager de Dieu (bsdl)?» Elle dit: «Je ne pleure pas (la mort du Prophète) et je sais parfaitement que ce qui est auprès de Dieu est bien meilleur pour le Messager de Dieu (bsdl). Mais je pleure l"inspiration de Dieu qui s"est arrêtée de nous venir du ciel». Elle fit couler ainsi leurs larmes et ils se mirent à pleurer avec elle. (Rapporté par Moslem)

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Prophet (Peace be upon him) said, "A man set out to visit a brother (in Faith) in another town and Allah sent an angel on his way. When the man met the angel, the latter asked him, "Where do you intend to go?" He said, "I intend to visit my brother in this town." The angel said, "Have you done any favour to him?" He said, "No, I have no desire except to visit him because I love him for the sake of Allah, the Exalted, and Glorious." Thereupon the angel said, "I am a messenger to you from Allah (to inform you) that Allah loves you as you love him (for His sake)"

[Muslim].

Selon Abou Hourayra (das), le Prophète (bsdl) a dit: «Un homme rendit visite à l"un de ses frères dans une autre cité. Dieu plaça un Ange sur son chemin pour épier son passage. Lorsqu"il arriva, l"Ange lui dit: «Qui veux-tu voir?» Il dit: «Je veux voir un frère à moi dans cette ville». Il dit: «Lui gères-tu quelqu"entreprise» II dit: «Non. Seulement je l"ai aimé en Dieu le Très-Haut». L"Ange lui dit : «Je suis envoyé à toi de la part de Dieu pour te dire que Dieu t"a aimé comme tu l"as aimé en Lui». (Raporté par Moslem)

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: I heard Messenger of Allah (Peace be upon him) saying, "Whosoever visits an ailing person or a brother of his to seek the Pleasure of Allah, an announcer (angel) calls out: 'May you be happy, may your walking be blessed, and may you be awarded a dignified position in Jannah".

[At- Tirmidhi].

Toujours selon lui, le Messager de Dieu (bsdl) a dit: «Celui qui rend visite à un malade ou à un frère à lui en Dieu est appelé par un appeleur: «Béni sois-tu! Bénie soit ta marche et puisses-tu t"installer dans une demeure du Paradis!» (Rapporté par Attirmidhi)

Abu Musa Al-Ash'ari (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: I heard the Prophet (Peace be upon him) saying, "The similitude of good company and that of bad company is that of the owner of musk and of the one blowing the bellows. The owner of musk would either offer you some free of charge, or you would buy it from him, or you smell its pleasant fragrance; and as for the one who blows the bellows (i.e., the blacksmith), he either burns your clothes or you smell a repugnant smell".

Selon Abou Musa Al Ash"ari (das), le Prophète (bsdl) a dit: «L"image de l"homme de bonne compagnie et de celle de l"homme de mauvaise compagnie est l"image du porteur de musc et celle du forgeron. Le porteur de musc, ou bien te donne un peu de son musc ou bien te le vend, ou bien tu jouis de sa bonne odeur. Tandis que le forgeron, ou bien il te brûle tes vêtements ou bien te nuit avec sa mauvaise odeur».

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Prophet (Peace be upon him) said, "A woman is married for four things: for her wealth, for her lineage, for her beauty or for her piety. Select the pious, may you be blessed!".

[Al-Bukhari and Muslim].

Selon Abou Hourayra (RA), le Prophète (saws) a dit : « On épouse la femme pour quatre raisons : Pour son argent, pour sa famille, pour sa beauté, ou sa religion (sa chasteté). Emporte celle qui a la religion, puissent tes mains se couvrir de poussière ! » (C’est un vœu qu’on dit pour plaisanter). (URA)

Ibn 'Abbas (May Allah be pleased with them) reported: The Prophet (Peace be upon him) said to Jibril (Gabriel), "What prevents you from visiting us more frequently?" Thereupon was revealed the Ayah: "(The angels say:) 'And we (angels) descend not except by the Command of your Rubb. To Him belongs what is before us and what is behind us, and what is between those two". (19:64)

[Al- Bukhari].

Selon Ibn "Abbas (das), le Prophète (bsdl) dit une fois à l"Ange Gabriel: «Qu"est-ce qui t"empêche de nous rendre visite plus fréquemment?» C"est alors que descendit le verset suivant: «Nous ne descendons que sur ordre de ton Seigneur. Il a ce qui est devant nous, ce qui est derrière et ce qu"il y a entre cela» (Chapitre 19 - verset 64). (Rapporté par Al Boukhàri)

Abu Sa'id Al-Khudri (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Prophet (Peace be upon him) said, "Keep only a believer for a companion and let only a pious eat your food".

[At-Tirmidhi and Abu Dawud].

Selon Abou Sa"id Al Khoudri (das), le Prophète (bsdl) a dit: «Ne tiens compagnie qu"à un homme croyant et que ne partage ton repas qu"un homme pieux!» (Rapporté par Abou Dawûd et Attirmidhi)

Abu Hurairah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: I heard the Prophet (Peace be upon him) saying, "Man follows his friend's religion, you should be careful who you take for friends".

[At-Tirmidhi and Abu Dawud].

Selon Abou Hourayra (das), le Prophète (bsdl) a dit: «L"homme a la même religion que son ami. Que l"un de vous fasse donc bien attention à celui qu"il prend pour ami!» (Rapporté par Abou Dawùd et Attirmidhi)

Abu Musa Al-Ash'ari (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: The Prophet (Peace be upon him) said, "A person will be summoned with the one whom he loves".

[Al-Bukhari and Muslim].

Another narration is: The Prophet (Peace be upon him) was asked; "What about a person who loves a people but cannot be with them?" (i.e., either he cannot attain their lofty position of righteousness or that he has not met with them in this life). He (Peace be upon him) replied, "A person will be in the company of those whom he loves".

Selon Abou Musa Al Ash"ari (das), le Prophète (bsdl) a dit: «Chacun sera (dans l"autre monde) avec celui qu"il aura aimé (dans ce monde)».
